The Opportunity:

Flexographic Printer Operator

We are currently looking for a Flexographic Print Operator to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position located in Whitby, Ontario.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate a brand-new flexographic printing press for a high volume packaging company in a team environment.

Objectives:

• Setup jobs and operate 10 colour flexo press, adjust machine based on job specification
• Achieve company and client quality expectations
• Meet and respect productivity and quality standards
• Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work on a tight timeline
• Strong decisionmaking, problemsolving, and organizational skills are required
• Collaborate with Press Assistants to provide supplies, perform changeovers and cleaning, as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' printing experience
• Waterbased and/or solventbased ink handling experience
• Comfortable with measurements in imperial and metric systems
• Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker
• Able to work in a fastpast team environment

What do you need to bring to the table?
- ((Must have 5 years' experience working on a Flexographic printer))

• High school diploma
• Ability to work shifts
• Support overtime as needed
• Desire to learn and grow
• Mechanical aptitude
• 5 years' experience working on a Flexographic printer
• Thorough understanding of plate mounting, ink handling,

color correction, print trapping and registration

• Adept at print troubleshooting
• Work safely, abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures
