Duties:


  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications
  • Assemble cabinets and furniture using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
  • Ability to operate power tools and woodworking machinery safely
  • Attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for working with heavy materials
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note:
Electrical skills are not relevant to the role of a Cabinet Maker.


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)


Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
