Description
Royal City Bookkeeping is a local company offering bookkeeping services to small and medium businesses throughout the Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, and Cambridge area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client account audits
- Correspond and communicate with CRA as required
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to client accounts
- Prepare financial reports
- Prepare year end financial statements
- Tax returns and filing
- Accurate government reporting
- Stay up to date with industry legislation and trends (payroll process and tax change)
- Complete work in accordance with corporate tax laws
- Manage accounts receivable/payable
- Reconcile bank statements and clearing accounts
- Maintain client accounts effectively
- Respond to client inquiries
- Provide client service and support
Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping/accounting degree
- Experience in industry minimum of 5 years experience preferred
- Knowledge of tax laws, reporting requirements, accounting rules, etc.
- Attention to detail
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use a variety of software programs; primarily, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage50
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Clientfocused work ethic
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
