Description

Royal City Bookkeeping is a local company offering bookkeeping services to small and medium businesses throughout the Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, and Cambridge area.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct client account audits
  • Correspond and communicate with CRA as required
  • Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to client accounts
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Prepare year end financial statements
  • Tax returns and filing
  • Accurate government reporting
  • Stay up to date with industry legislation and trends (payroll process and tax change)
  • Complete work in accordance with corporate tax laws
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable
  • Reconcile bank statements and clearing accounts
  • Maintain client accounts effectively
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Provide client service and support

Qualifications:


  • Bookkeeping/accounting degree
  • Experience in industry minimum of 5 years experience preferred
  • Knowledge of tax laws, reporting requirements, accounting rules, etc.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a variety of software programs; primarily, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage50
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Clientfocused work ethic

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
