Mandatory Requirements:

A valid Manitoba Security License
is required

Must be fluent in English both verbally and in writing

Minimum 1 year working experience in the security field.

MUST have own transportation (or be able to arrange for transportation after midnight at specific sites)

MUST be able to stand for 3-5 hours and be able to do foot patrols as required.

MUST be available for either shift: Saturday & Sunday OR Sunday & Monday

Security Guard Responsibilities:

Observe and Report any/all suspicious activities and incidents at respective sites.
Communicate with Supervisors, when required.
Remove unwanted persons from the property, when required.
Respond to emergency situations as required.
Occasional lifting may be required, (min. 50 lbs).
Providing our clients with exceptional customer service while remaining focused on the assets of the property at all times.
Must be available to work on all shifts: weekends, evenings and overnights, shifts will be "as required".
Confident in using communication equipment 2way radio.
Standing and walking, which would be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Ability to approach difficult situations and resolve in a timely manner.
Ability to work well with others.
