More About the role:

It takes a special kind of person to do this job. Those most successful in this role are very detailed oriented and very organized.


Job Duties:


  • Orders all shoprelated parts, kit items and shop and cleaning supplies.
  • Maintains control of the parts room & inventory records.
  • Verifies that all parts used on a unit repair are listed on the PDI sheet/work order.
  • Responsible for all arriving parts and entering them into the computer system.
  • Labels parts with part numbers and pricing.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to take servicerelated calls & book service appointments.
  • Provides the shop with service appointments every Friday afternoon.
  • Initiates and completes service work orders.
  • Manages winter work order scheduling and enters information into the computer system.
  • Ensures parts are ordered prior to service booking.
  • Ensures Customer understands and signs service work order prior to work starting.
  • Contacts Customer after service is completed.
  • Completes warranty documents.
  • Ensures all special sales part requirements are handled (awnings/generators etc.).
  • Works collaboratively with coworkers on delivery schedules.
  • Ensures all predelivery inspections are entered into the system and parts used are subtracted from inventory.
  • Works with the Fleet team on warranty issues.
  • Organizes all nonoffice material courier pickups.
  • Keeps parts area clean, neat, organized and free of garbage.
  • Prepares parts quotations for retail and sales department needs.
  • Active in parts inventory and weekly audit counts and procedures.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of one year of parts experience.
  • A knowledge of Auto/RV body parts and the ordering process will be an asset.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and locating new sources.
  • Demonstrated strong computer/software proficiency, preferably with estimating systems.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel required.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
