Designs by Day Landscaping is looking for Landscape Crew members who are energetic and enthusiastic about working outside building and creating landscapes with their hands.

We are hiring positions for a lead hand role.

We are a quickly growing company that works in Waterloo Region, Wellington/Dufferin County, providing exceptional, courteous, and quality services to our clients.

All applicants must:
- have experience in both interlock and fencing installation
- be reliable and able to follow directions and work independently, as needed
- enjoy working outdoors
- be able to lift 50-70 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- be hard working and uphold workplace safety standards
- be able to use power tools/lawn equipment (including quick cut saw, auger)
- ability to operate a mini skid steer is considered an asset
- be willing to learn
- possess a G Licence

Specific job duties include:
Maintenance tasks, including but not limited to; grass cutting, trimming and edging, pruning
Sod installation; removing previous material, where needed, rototilling, laying sod
Interlock installation; removing previous material, where needed, grading of area, cutting stone, installing stone
Fence installation; using an auger to dig holes for posts, moving materials, installing fencing.

Salary:
$27.00-$35.00 per hour
