    Professeur à temps partiel -- nomination à long terme (NLT) à durée déterminée de 5 ans avec possibilité de renouvellement: La personne retenue doit pouvoir intervenir dans le domaine de la psychologie du sport en contribuant à l'enseignement ainsi qu'en participant à l'élaboration, coordination et participation à l'encadrement de travaux de stages pour la Contrat de 5 ans dont le nombre de cours enseignés par année sera équivalent à 7 cours (21 crédits), dont au moins un cours sera assigné sous forme de tâches de sooutien administratif contribuant à l'amélioration continue desprogdrammes de formation. Début du contrat : 19 août 2024.

    Part-time professor -- long-term appointment (LTA) with a 5 year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal: the selected person must be able to intervene in the field of sport psychology by contributing to teaching as well as participating in the development, coordination, and supervision of student interns for the . This position is a 5-year contract and the number of courses taught per year will be equivalent to 7 courses (21 credits), of which at least one course will be assigned in the form of administrataive support duties contributing to the continuous improvement of the academic programs. Contract start date: August 19, 2024.

    Qualifications requises / Required qualifications

    Éducation : Ph.D. en activité physique ou dans un domaine connexe (concentration en psychologie du sport). / Education : Ph.D. in Human Kinetics or related field (concentration sport psychology).

    Expérience de travail / Work experience :

  • Enseignement de niveau universitaire avec un parcours d'excellence démontré. / University level teaching with a demonstrated track record of excellence. Consultant.e en performance mentale certifié. (CPMC) et membre professionnel de l'Association canadienne de psychologie du sport (ACPS). / Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with professional membership with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA).
  • Mentor agréé dans le cadre du programme de certification CPMC. / Approved mentor through the CMPC Certification Program
  • Vaste expérience de la création, de la mise en œuvre et de l'évaluation de compétences et de programmes professionnels en matière de performance mentale et de bien-être dans le domaine de la psychologie du sport. / Extensive experience in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of professional mental performance and wellness competencies and programs aligned with the field of sport psychology.
  • Expérience et excellence démontrées en matière de consultation et de conseil visant à améliorer la performance et le bien-être dans les milieux sportifs. / Demonstrated experience and excellence in consultation/counselling to improve performance and well-being in sport settings.
  • Assurance responsabilité civile pour travailler en tant que CPMC au Canada. / Liability insurance to work as a CMPC in Canada
  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est exigé à l'embauche. / Bilingualism (French and English) is required at time of hire.
  • La connaissance de l'entraînement sportif est un atout. / Knowledge of sport coaching is an asset.

    Le candidat retenu enseignera en français et en anglais aux niveaux du premier cycle et des cycles supérieurs et sera appelé à participer dans l'encadrement de travaux de stages pour la Maîtrise en sciences de l'activité physique avec spécialisation en intervention et consultation. / The successful candidate will teach in French and English at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will be expected to coordinate and supervise internships in the Master of Human Kinetics specializing in intervention and consultation.

    An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
