    Overall Purpose

    The ISO Auditing Manager is responsible for ensuring a company's policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. ISO Auditing Manager will perform regular audits, implement company policies, and design control systems.

    The ISO Auditing Manager will perform duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: quality operating system functions, ISO/IATF/AS Technical Specification, employee relations, training, etc. Maintain proper company documentation. Must be sensitive to company needs, employee goodwill, requirements/goodwill, and industry standards.

    Responsibilities

    Client relationship & Business development

    • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
    • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
    • Participate in administrative staff meetings, ISO/IATF Management Review meetings, and attend other meetings, internal and external, as required.

    Operations

    • Audit System Compliance: IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 9001, this includes Root Cause, Corrective, and Preventive Action Implementation; and Preventive Action responses to all quality concerns and audit non-conformances. (5Y/8D, etc).
    • Prepare for certification, follow-up on potential certification audit findings and update certifications

    Organization & Management

    • Conduct/ Manage Layered Audit program to assure control plan adherence / applicability.
    • Manage / Maintain Process Control Plans, PFMEA's and RPN Reduction Plans.
    • Manage all activities of the department, including but not limited to: PPAPs, Layouts, and Quality Lab standards, operations, and certifications.
    • Manage the coordination of concerns and brokered product issues from domestic suppliers and partnered companies.
    • Manage the development and maintenance of PFMEAs, Control Plans, Operation Instructions, and other Quality System Documentation.
    • Establish and maintain required department records and reports

    Technical

    • Maintain compliance with requirements, ISO/IATF Technical Specification, and industry standards to ensure quality product.
    • Ensuring root-cause corrective actions are in place through audit.

    • Experience in warehouse operations: sorting, inspection, packaging and shipping (inbound and outbound)
    • Experience with problem solving, statistical, and analytical skills.

    • SQE certification is a plus
    • Familiarity with automotive supplier requirements
    • ISO/TS 16949 , 9001 & IATF Audit experience and / or training

    Education background
