Coordinate the execution of small to mid-size shop assembly & overhaul projects to ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, and revises as appropriate to meet project financial, commercial, and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the shop project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress against financials, deliverables timeline and contractual requirements.
- Act as liaison between customer, supplier, shop and engineering for proper project execution
- Identifies, qualifies, quantifies, and manages risk & issues, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Captures, analyzes, and shares lessons learned throughout the project.
- Ensures the project closeout as contractually agreed.
- Ensures that any project warranty and after sales issues are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- College or university degree in manufacturing operations, project management or similar
- 24 years of experience in a similar role and/or customer account management/ coordination of multiple projects
- Spoken and written English and French functional
- MS office,
- Basic knowledge of Project Management
- Autonomy, initiative and proactivity
- Strong customer service focus
- Good work ethic,
- Good communication and collaboration skills with team members and different stake holders
- Basic Knowledge of Logistics; transport, Incoterms, customs process and SAP
