The work location is at

Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.

Future challenges
- The Water Treatment Coordinator performs the following duties in accordance with applicable safety standards:
- Coordinate, plan and control the operation and improvement activities of the drinking water production, wastewater treatment as well as surface mining water treatment facilities;
- Work in close collaboration with the maintenance departments and participate in the reliability of the facilities;
- Ensure the writing of followup, scientific and technical reports;
- Participate actively in the implementation of new water treatment plants;
- Leads optimization projects for water treatment plants, whether in terms of production, health and safety, automation or computerization of processes;
- Supervise the personnel of his sector;
- Plan the sampling and analysis of water in his sector;
- Promote and comply with company health and safety requirements;
- Performs any other related duties as required by his supervisor.
Profile required
- Education and relevant experience:
- Have a college diploma (DEC) in water treatment and have more than 5 years of experience in the field of water treatment or mining water treatment, OR;
- Have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (environmental or water specialty is an asset) and have more than 2 years' experience in the water treatment sector.
- Knowledge of physicalchemical processes of decanter/integrated sludge tanker/sludge recirculation.
- Knowledge of drinking water and wastewater regulations;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite;
- Possess a valid class 5 driver's license.
Nice to have
- Bilingualism (French and functional English);
- Holder of certificates of qualification in wastewater treatment and/or drinking water.
