We are looking to hire energetic, enthusiastic, and quality service focused individuals to work as permanent Customer Service Representatives for our facilities across the City


Customer Service Representatives are passionate members of the Customer Experience team, who are the first point of contact with our members and guests at the facilities' front desks.


You will be the definition of a Quality Customer Service superstar while providing our new and existing members with information on products and services.

You will be supporting the operation of the facility with efficiency and courtesy.


Some responsibilities include:

  • Provide detailed information about the facility, programs, products, and services to patrons and special needs visitors both in person and over the phone
  • Process program registrations and facility bookings using RAMS computer software
  • Promote health and wellness through the sale of special products, services, and memberships
  • Collect facility admission fees, handle cash, and prepare daily deposits
  • Support facility operations by controlling and directing admission to various areas of the facility
  • Perform administrative duties such as word processing, data entry, and generating inventory reports
  • Provide First Aid, CPR, and emergency evacuation support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Completion of Grade 12, with an emphasis on general office practices or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school or college
  • Experience with customer service, cash handling, and computer software programs
  • Possession of valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C & AED Certification is required
  • Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public, facility staff, and volunteers
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions and information
  • Strong proficiency using Google Applications and Microsoft Office is an asset
  • Experience using intelligenz/RAMS is an asset
  • The ability to converse in a second language is an asset
  • Knowledge of operational practices and procedures relative to security issues and ability to respond to emergent situations
  • Hire is dependent upon a Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector check satisfactory to the City of Edmonton

_ Up to 7 permanent, part-time positions_

Hours:
Up to 40 hours per week, Sunday - Saturday. Facility operations are 7 days per week. Shifts vary based on facility operating hours with evening and weekend work required.
