Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
- General carpentry & facility equipment repair/maintenance; perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements.
- Complete documentation and inspections as required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the facility equipment.
- Manage relationships with service contractors and suppliers to develop project budgets / quotes and coordinate logistics of repairs or projects
- Attend departmental safety and other meetings as required
Who you are:
- Grade 1 35 years in various general facilities maintenance positions
- Level 1 first aid
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification
- WHMIS
- Plumbing Experience
Working Conditions:
- Indoor/Outdoor exposed to varying terrain, temperatures and weather conditions
- Exposure to chemicals
- Operates power tools
- Requirement to lift up to 50lbs
