POSITION OBJECTIVE


The Quality Assurance (QA) COR (Certificate of Recognition) Audit Reviewer embodies AMTA's commitments towards safety programs of excellence, evaluating conformity to performance standards, while coaching auditors to ensure continuous improvement.

You will require a mid to high level of education or related experience in Occupational Health & Safety.

This role demands meticulous attention to detail, an advanced understanding of safety standards, and the ability to communicate expectations clearly.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete QA COR reviews on submitted audits and other documentation
  • Communicate findings relating to COR Audit reviews in the manner appropriate to the program
  • Provide specific and actionable correction requests relating to the work of others
  • Respond to requests for clarification or support COR review process in the completion of correction requests
  • Continuously adhere to best practices relating to due diligence and records management relating to the COR audit process
  • Support team members in meeting the association commitments to membership, always focusing on excellence in service delivery
  • Assess member needs to identify association opportunities and remain current on industry trends as they pertain to safe and healthy workplaces
  • Play an active role in the continuous improvement and execution of AMTA's safety management system
  • Identify and flag areas of concern regarding auditor performance or behavior
  • Make recommendations for specific areas of improvement to programs and services
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalency relating to the Health and Safety process.
