The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the assigned indirect sourcing projects to meet the business needs in a timely manner.

The Sourcing Manager - Indirect will responsible for the management and oversight of all material purchasing activities in support of internal operations & capital expenditures by cost-effectively and timely delivering the result with risk mitigation actions.

This position seeks a motivated individual skilled in commercial contracting - including but not limited to the areas of Construction, CAPEX, Office Supplies, facility services and IT.

This position as defined is new and represents an exciting opportunity to mature the indirect purchasing and commercial contracting skill, as well as the enhancement of indirect risk management.


What You Will Bring:


  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing work experience of CAPEX, industrial solution, indirect materials, and service expenditures in sizable companies.
  • Knowledge of facility operation government laws and regulatory are preferred.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Capable of developing a detailed RFP from scratch, evaluating and driving the decision process
  • Ability to evaluate and build category strategies that will drive positive impact to business.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess and manage suppliers.
  • Strong Negotiation skills with partnership mindset and contract implementation
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
  • Adept at problem resolution & change management
  • Experienced Excel user and can work with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate well in person as well as on the phone and in writing.
  • Able to build and leverage relationships (Internal customers & suppliers).
  • Keen sense of urgency and follow through.
  • Thrive in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial environment
  • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration, master's degree is an asset

What You Will Do:


  • Responsible for procuring indirect and Capital Expensed materials and services required by programs through close collaboration with plant GM, engineers and direct supervisor in consistent with state & local Commercial regulations, rules and policies.
  • Perform strategic and operational planning of the project procurement needs, budget, timeline and deliverables.
  • Ensure the identified materials are procured in a manner of compliance, high quality, cost effective and timely.
  • Identify and quality suppliers by working closely with plant GM, engineers, consultants, and any other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage RFP process and collect all needed background and project information from suppliers.
  • Negotiate cost, leadtime, warranty, and key business terms with selected suppliers
  • Ensure the ontime fulfillment of the procured items and materials by confirming and closely follow up with suppliers.
