We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. As a Patient Transfer Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.

• You will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently


• You must have excellent communication skills to provide outstanding customer service


• You should have the ability to lift heavy objects (250+ lbs.) using a stretcher or stair chair with partner assistance

Requirements:


The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR be working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR be a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
2. A Valid BLS Certification (Please note: we can provide training if needed.).
3. A valid G class driving license,
4. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English;
