We are a small, local company that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students in Victoria.
Our goal is to provide quality tutoring services to help students excel in their academic pursuits.We primarily serve UVic and Camosun students, and we are looking for a physics/engineering/math/chemistry tutor who shares our passion for helping students reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Tutoring students in physics, chemistry, math, and/or engineering
- Creating customized lesson plans and study materials
- Assessing students' progress and adjusting tutoring methods as needed
- Communicating with students and parents/guardians about progress and areas for improvement
- Being available for inperson tutoring in Victoria
Requirements:
- A passion for helping students succeed
- A background in teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to create customized lesson plans and study materials
- A flexible schedule to accommodate variable tutoring hours
- Access to reliable transportation
Job Types:
Part-time, Casual
Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- On call
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
