- Collaborate with Engineering Lead to manageengineering firms to complete detailed engineering for projects
- Support project estimates development, preparation andsubmission of Application for Expenditures requests;
- Collaborate with the procurement group to executescopes of work, tenders, technical bid evaluations and assist with generalcontracts management;
- Support project schedule development in alignment withthe business requirements;
- Ensure adherence to all construction health, safety,security and environmental policies and comply with all applicable legalregulations;
- In collaboration with the Projects Cost Controller,manage project costs, review actuals to date provide forward lookingprojections, cost deviation and recommend remedial actions to stay on budget;
- Contribute to completion of project progress reports;
- Provide input and support to the construction teamduring the execution including on-site field supervision;
- Post-secondary education in engineering –Mechanical/Civil/Structural preferred;
- 2-3 years' experience in engineering/construction;
- Previous experience in mining and gold process plantsan asset;
- Communication and presentation skills (oral andwritten) that include report writing and presentation;
- Ability to establish priorities and work underpressure to meet project deadlines;
- Solid report writing, communication and presentationskills;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft OfficeSuite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
