Inspire Montessori School is a Montessori school in Markham. We are currently seeking experienced Toddler Assistant teachers. Teaching Assistants must have experience in working with Casa (ages 2.5 months to 3.5) and be prepared to work alongside the Head Teacher and supervisor in a supportive team-teaching Montessori environment.


We are currently looking for individuals that can work part time hours between 1:30pm to 5:30pm (Tues to Friday) and 8am to 5:30pm on Monday.

Additional hours may be available between 8am to 2pm on certain days.


Responsibilities:


  • Observe, guide, and assess students for skill development and understanding
  • Conduct daily circle time that promotes learning and group discussion.
  • Maintain open, positive and consistent communication with students' parents
  • Organize and take part in school events, excursions and schoolwide initiatives that may take place after school hours.
  • Keep the classroom clean and inviting by keeping materials organized and disinfecting daily.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a Montessori with Pre-Casa/Toddler children
  • Experience in using electronic program planning and recording tracking is preferred.
  • Knowledge of French an asset
  • Knowledge of music (especially piano) an asset
We are looking for both Part Time and Casual.


Job Types:

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
