Established in 1966 and serving Calgary's Tuxedo Park neighbourhood and beyond as an independent, locally run pharmacy, Blue Bottle looks to provide each patient with the same level of care and compassion.

We're very much a community pharmacy, with services like our specialized compounding—done entirely in-house—capable of making a huge impact in the lives of our patients.

By providing personalized health care to each and every patient, we're able to serve as an effective community health care hub.

We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position of Pharmacy Assistant. Pharmacy assistants are required to help support various Mint projects and patients, as well as help in the safe and efficient dispensing of medication by our Pharmacists.

This is a great opportunity for a pharmacy assistant who wishes to work as part of a concerted multidisciplinary effort to help those in Calgary.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of a college pharmacy assistant program or a minimum 2 years related experience
• Compounding experience would be considered a strong asset (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerable populations (preferred)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, Netcare, and other database programs.
• Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Communicates effectively at all levels.
• Very strong attention to details.
• Accepts and responds to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
