    The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is now accepting applications for the - school year, to fill the following Full-time term position based out of Senator Myles Venne School (SMVS) in La Ronge, SK :

    PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

    The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • Saskatchewan Professional "A" teaching certificate or Provisional Professional "A" Teaching Certificate
  • Excellent classroom management skills;
  • Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
  • Teaching experience in a High School;
  • Cross-Cultural experience is an asse;
  • Knowledge in technology is an asset (fluency in MSS);
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License;
  • Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
  • Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable).
