Your mission:


As a Systems QA Analyst, you will test our entire system for usability, and to ensure all components are performing as designed.

Possess technical aptitude by using devices to take control of the physical environment.

In this role you will:


  • Enhance and execute test plans for our software, firmware, and hardware products
  • Plan, construct, and maintain complex test systems and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot to verify and diagnose cause of issues
  • Record test results and issues found using our testing and bug tracking software
  • Verification of functional requirements across products
  • Make recommendations for system changes and improvements
  • Understand how the different components of our system interact with one another
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality throughout the software and firmware development lifecycle.

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong general computer and IT skills, including networking experience
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Methodical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience creating test plans, executing tests, and assessing defects
  • Familiarity with test management and documentation systems
  • Experience with packet capturing software such as Wireshark is an asset
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and concepts is an asset
  • Experience with virtualization and VMware vSphere is an asset
  • Experience with enterprise Ethernet networking equipment is an asset
