Cleaner - Light Duty

Everclean Facility Services is a large and successful facility services company operating throughout Western Canada.

We have multiple positions open at
Uptown Mall in Victoria for full time and temporary Light Duty Cleaners.

Starting wage for this role is $16.36 and will increase to $17.86 after 6 months.

The light duty cleaner is generally responsible for customer service to patrons and maintaining the cleanliness of facilities, building common areas and exterior areas within or related to their assigned Office(s).

They will attend to all daily cleaning requirements and service requests based on end user expectations.

Duties:

Daily

Clean, dust, and mop office floors by using a variety of equipment and supplies
Vacuum carpets to ensure they are free of debris
Wipe down and sanitize desks, chairs, and reception areas
Empty trash cans, recycling, and compost, and ensure they are properly disposed of
Clean and wash down windows and partition glass
Clean and maintain office kitchen equipment (ie fridge, sink, coffee maker, etc)
Clean interior private washrooms, and nearby public washrooms if applicable
Keep all window sills and floor ledges clear of dust and debris
Activate and deactivate alarms as necessary to ensure tenant security
Communicate proper lockup procedures to Security once office is clean and secured Weekly
Walls around entrances to be spot washed weekly
Fabric furniture vacuumed weekly
Clean water to be poured down washroom drains weekly to avoid odor

Monthly
