OVERVIEW:


The Financial Analyst's primary mandate is to manage and support the month end reporting, corporate budgeting, planning, and forecasting needs of the Company, to ensure consistency and accuracy of information received, and provide robust reporting/insight that will be used to support decision making across the organization.

You will also assist to provide financial analysis and reporting to inform financial business decisions and ensure all financial aspects of each client are properly managed.

In addition, you will maintain the overall integrity of the financial and management reporting process and ensure compliance with all SOX and specific client requirements.


How you will make an IMPACT:

  • Provide support for month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting/closing. Ensure appropriate accruals/journal entries are booked.
  • Provide indepth billing and net sales analysis by client, and related variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Support overall budgeting and forecasting requirements.
  • Support SOX and IFRS compliance needs as assigned.
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing issues and assist the Manager FP&A with any financial analysis as assigned.

What YOU bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year's working experience of accounting and or financial analysis
  • Working toward CPA is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to show ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills: proven ability to prioritize and organize workload, and operate under tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized
