- Install, repair, assemble and maintain plant machinery, equipment and structures.
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- Works from complex blueprints, shop handbooks, layouts, and other specifications (written or verbal) to determine the materials and working procedures needed in the maintenance of plant machinery, equipment, and structures.
- Welds, brazes, scrapes, solders, cuts, etc. various types of metals necessary for maintenance repairs and fabrication of new components and equipment.
- Involved in rigging and scaffolding; moves heavy machinery and equipment; lubricates greases, oils, etc., plant machinery and equipment.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubleshooting experience -Minimum 3-5 years of experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment that use hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- 433a Red Seal Millwright Mechanic -Must be an active red seal ticketed millwright.
- Experience working with conveyor systems -Must have experience maintaining mechanical components of various type of conveyor systems
