Reporting to the Director of Franchise Marketing, the
Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to create and execute marketing plans that drive sales and increase brand and category awareness for Garage Living.


Key components of this position include creating competitor insights, compiling report metrics for all marketing functions, communicating with franchise owners about local marketing, developing integrated campaigns, and improving marketing results.

The
Marketing Coordinator will be involved with the day-to-day marketing activities and help to execute the long-term marketing strategy for the company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coordinate the daytoday execution of all marketing initiatives and activities within the marketing department
  • Work within the overall marketing strategy, and assist in strategy development according to analytical findings
  • Responsible for helping to plan, develop, and implement of all the brand's marketing strategies, and marketing communication, both internal and external and measuring success
  • Work with other departments to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to ensure alignment in marketing efforts
  • Work with other members of the marketing, operations, and creative teams and coordinate with other departments in the company to achieve marketing goals and successfully execute marketing initiatives
  • Produce marketing reports and provide actionable insights
  • Report on marketing data, using data and measurable KPIs
  • Manage annual marketing budgets and expenses by monitoring each campaign and initiative against proposed budget
  • Ensure campaigns and other marketing initiatives meet marketing objectives by analyzing results and reporting on findings
  • Conduct general market research to keep up to date on trends and competitor's marketing movements
  • Manage brand reputation through our platform by ensuring processes are being followed and reviews and comments are being handled in an appropriate and timely fashion on Google and Facebook
  • Collaborate with various franchise owners in support of all their marketing requirements, owning and project managing committed deliverables from development through to delivery
  • Ensure critical timelines are met and teams are kept updated and informed; respond to internal demands for marketing material and information
  • Various administrative duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar program
  • 1 3 years of relevant work experience (including coop)
  • Experience with managing digital media; knowledgeable with digital marketing principles and techniques; training and proficiency with the HubSpot platform is an asset
  • Comfort with data, metrics, and analytics; proven ability to examine and interpret data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • An energetic, positive attitude with strong work ethic and professional maturity
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects with multiple deadlines and a high degree of organization and time management skills is essential, strong drive for accuracy and flawless execution
  • Ability to be proactive and anticipate job requirements; takes ownership of tasks and consistent follow through
  • Previous experience within a franchise marketing department and is an asset
  • Assists in ensuring that media plans and budgets are maintained.
  • Keeps track of business and industry competitive trends and offerings and keeps team informed

$45,000.00 per year
