Description

Warren Ltd, a well-established marine agency, and is seeking interested applicants for the position of Agency Representative at our Halifax location.

• Boarding vessels and arranging/attending to all requirements/services for a successful port call.
• Representing a variety of international customers at the local level.
• Liaising with both port and government authorities.
• Monitoring regulatory compliance (prearrival requirements).
• Office administration tasks, approving invoices and closing files related to port calls.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Post secondary education in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle a large volume of requests.
• People oriented; must be able to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to crew, owners, suppliers, service providers, and authorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must own a vehicle and have a valid Nova Scotia driver's license.
• Flexibility to work outside regular office hours.
