What the job is all about:

  • Manages and standardize per industry best practices the followin

g:

  • Distribution Lists (DL)
  • Security Groups
  • Azure Active Directory user accounts
  • Azure B2C accounts
  • Ensure accounts are correctly onboarded, maintained and securely deactivated, DL's updated, etc. upon employee hiring/departure
  • Work with the relevant stake holders to ensure compliance with GDPR and similar regulatory frameworks for removal requests
  • Provides input to, and assists with implementation of disaster recovery plans
  • Identify and adjust workflow procedures that lead to overall process improvements
  • Monitor relevant system logs to ensure health, uptime, and quality of service
  • Perform relevant patching and upgrades if required
  • Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operational and troubleshooting procedures related to the various account systems
  • Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics as directed
  • Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design, and standards
  • Troubleshoot assigned IT Help Desk tickets and assist team members when required
  • Provide afterhours support on an as needed basis to support core company operations
  • Perform other related duties as required

Who you are:


  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent training and experience in the IT field
  • Indepth knowledge and proven experience with Azure SSO, Azure Active Directory, Azure B2C
  • Windows Server, Mac OS, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu server administration an asset
  • Knowledge of monitoring and measurement systems (PRTG, Grafana, OpenManage), MS365 monitoring tools (e

g:
Cloud App Security), Intune an asset

  • Experience with VDI platforms (Dell Wyse, Windows RDS) an asset
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure and other cloud platforms (an asset)
  • Approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Team player but able to work independently
  • Able to envision the entire project and look for problem areas
  • Organized, thorough, and detail orientated
  • High initiative and welldeveloped analytical skills
  • Technical, handson person
  • Minimum 46 years IT Account Administration experience with AD, Azure AD, Azure B2C, including monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Azure Active Directory management/integration, Linux and Mac OS integration with these services would an asset.
  • AWS account management and administration an asset
  • Experience in a product development environment is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, a reliable vehicle is a must
  • Travel between Ottawa and Iroquois when required
  • Possess or can obtain a valid passport
