Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveillance and monitor CCTV cameras to detect and prevent theft, fraud, and other criminal activities.
  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized individuals.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing them with evidence or information related to criminal activities.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk and protect company assets.

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques, principles, and best practices.
  • Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to loss prevention and security.
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in highstress situations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with employees, management, and law enforcement personnel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of 5 steps to arrest
  • Preventing theft/fraud/price switching in store
  • Detaining suspect in the event of arrest
  • Plainclothes LPO and physically fit
  • Escort trespassers and vagrants off property
  • Customer service to staff to insure they are safely escorted to their car if needed
  • Able to write statement in the event of arrest
  • Maintain relationship with police
  • Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.
