Reporting to the Program Coordinator, Skating Instructors will be responsible for planning and delivering instructional ice skating programs to participants.

They will be directly involved in the implementation and delivery of age-appropriate activities, ensure participant safety and engagement, follow policies and procedures, and work effectively with all staff.


QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends).
  • Strong understanding of Skating and Hockey fundamentals
  • Team oriented.
  • Enjoy working with children.
  • Great People and Relationship Skills.
  • Strong Leadership Skills.
  • Strong Communicator.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills.
  • Strong Work Ethic.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Minimum two years of Hockey or Skating instructing experience.
  • Past Coaching/Teaching Experience preferred.
  • Highlevel hockey playing experience would be an asset.

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week


Schedule:

  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
