A prominent mining organization in British Columbia seeks a highly experienced Drill and Blast Lead to manage DTH operations, guaranteeing strict adherence to safety protocols within the mine's remote open-pit environment.
You will be responsible for strategic planning, leadership development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate must possess over 10 years of extensive experience in the mining industry along with a valid BC Blasting Ticket. This position entails working under challenging conditions on a rigorous rotation schedule involving long periods away from home.
The compensation package includes an attractive salary range between CAD $130,000-$150,000.
