Work Environment:
Work environment is typically indoors in a shop environment; however, mechanics are frequently outdoors pulling in fleet vehicles or even driving out onto job sites, freeways, or roads with service truck for emergency truck repairs.
Physical Demands:
This is moderately strenuous work. Mechanics frequently lift material up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tools require frequent and consistent exertion on arms, hands, and fingers.
