Construction Project Coordinator - Shuniah, Canada - LTL Contracting Ltd.
Description
LTL is currently seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and assisting in projects related to general construction and crushing.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Coordinator will assist the Project Managers in accomplishing project results by defining the project purpose and scope, allocating required project resources, establishing standards and protocols, scheduling and coordinating personnel and subcontractors, evaluating milestones, and reporting.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Prepare proposals and qualification packages, estimates, and invoices.
- Coordinate and manage daytoday requirements for both fuel related and environmental projects.
- Manage deliverable documentation for fuel and environmental projects.
- Liaison with existing clients and developing new clients.
- Assist in finding, estimating, and winning potential projects.
- Participate in project management meetings and safety inspections.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to scheduling changes and occasional evening, or weekend work.
- Maintain a commitment to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high quality of work.
- Consistently maintain professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support.
- Handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
Experience and Requirements:
- Experienced background in the contruction industry is preferred.
- Valid Class G driver's license.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Able to pass both drug and alcohol testing.
- Clean criminal background check.

- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Salary:
$52,351.76-$117,120.43 per year

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
