    As a Project Manager you will support projects that span multiple disciplines within our organization in order to deliver high quality and sustainable solutions to our clients.

    Your experience in the industry and/or consulting, as well as your project and people skills will enable you to make a difference in our industry and inspire new and better ways to implement engineering and water management solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping, and progress reports.
    • Build, strengthen and maintain client relationships.
    • Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables.
    • Effectively manage multiple projects for various discipline groups.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed both client and internal expectations by implementing a deliverable quality assurance review appropriate to the project size and scope.
    • Work logically and systematically, with good time management.
    • Identify and assemble project teams to meet project requirements.
    • Communicate with clients, internal team members and support services to ensure alignment.
    • Proactively define and mitigate overall project risk through interaction with the project team and clients.
    • Actively participate in business development activities.
    • Coach and mentor team members.
    • Support the development of cost estimate and schedules for project deliverables.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in a project management role.
    • Professional designation or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of British. Columbia (EGBC) and/or the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta
      (APEGA) is an asset.
    • Technical background in planning, design, and construction of water and/or wastewater infrastructure in a related discipline is an asset.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent project management skills including development and management of client relationships, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
    • Flexibility and the ability to manage change with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Experience with conflict management and resolution.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects with a proactive approach and a high level of attention to detail.
    • Industry experience in mining or construction is an asset.
    • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Projects, 4castplus) is an asset.
    • Ability to identify and handle risks and opportunities on construction projects.
    • Detailed knowledge of construction methodology, processes, and sequence.
    • Knowledge and application of safety and environment principles, procedures, and legislation.
    • Strong financial knowledge and understanding of construction market costs of labour and resources; experience with lump sum and construction management contracts preferred.
    • Experience with Civil earthworks designs related to stormwater reservoirs, earthen structures, small and large earthen dams, surface water management, roadways, underground piping, and site grading.
    • Experience with preparation of clear and comprehensive reports, construction execution plans, technical notes and client presentations.
    • Experience with geotechnical design and analysis, using slope stability software.
    • Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Perform site visits and conduct fieldwork with a focus on safety.
    • Experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports.
    • Legally able to work in Canada.
