Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Stagiaire Expériences et interfaces utilisateurs position in Montreal, QC_ _
from May - August 2024.
Job Summary

Major Responsibilities

  • Support existing projects in collaboration with the Expert UX Researcher, Lead UX Designer, and UI Designer
  • Conduct research and design
  • Assist with workshop facilitation, including design workshops, feature roadmaps, and prioritize requirements
  • Design low fidelity wireframes and explain the design's rationale
  • Understand how CN's design system works and align wireframes to the Company's standards
  • Transfer mock up to developers
  • Participate in evolving CN's User Experience practice, considering industry standards and practices that lead toward interactive design and Design Thinking

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • Solves problems to create value
  • Ability to work with business clients to understand detailed requirements and User Experience Design that meet client needs and vision
  • Understand the importance of usercentered design
  • Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French) with proficiency in English
Education

  • Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Computer sciences or Software Engineering with a focus on Front-End Engineering and User Experience Design
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic and Visual design or equivalent training
  • Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction or Cognitive Ergonomics
  • Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
