    Project Technologist

    Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

    Richmond, BC

    Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Richmond Office.

    The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry specifically related to contaminated sites.

    A Day in the life of a Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites and the sampling of soil, groundwater and vapour
  • Report writing and overall project support
  • Support project scope development and implementation
  • Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI's)
  • Conduct historical and regulatory research
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Work in a both self-lead and team environments
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives
  • Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in a field related to Environmental Science
  • 1 to 3 years' related experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Availability to travel for work within the Lower Mainland. Occasional travel within other areas of BC and other provinces may be required
  • Valid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
