Description
Trans Canada Safety is looking for a buyer for our busy North Bay Branch.Duties include but are not limited to: preparing accurate and complete purchase orders for all goods, materials and supplies. Work closely with each Division managing their orders, ensuring that purchases are recorded and submitted in a timely manner. Handle all inquires and follow up's on outstanding orders. Research and gathering of information on new items. Work with freight carriers, obtaining quotes, scheduling of incoming and outgoing shipments, and tracking orders in transit. Creation and inputting of all new product codes into database. Maintain and manage inventory levels.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers, transportation and key customer contacts.
- Have efficient interpersonal skills, be organized and be a team player
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Experience with MS Office 365 and prior use or knowledge of Quickbooks will be considered an asset.
