    How You'll Make an Impact

  • Overall P&L (profit and loss) responsibility of a Distribution Transformers factory, operations management, quality control, productivity, employee's health and safety and labor relations
  • Provide Strategic management support to the team in the development and implementation plan for product and process improvement, R&D, and innovation measures.
  • Responsible for factory cost optimization measures
  • Responsible for overall strategic plan for customer engagement in coordination with the Sales team and overall sales targets
  • Provide leadership and professional development plan for the team and employee engagement.
  • Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with all legislated requirements.
  • Improve employee engagement throughout the factory, from the front-line employees, technical team, and managers.
  • What You Bring

  • University degree, preferably in engineering or Business Management / Operations Management with significant experience in factory operations and general management, holding a P&L responsibility.
  • Shown managerial/supervisory skills to provide value- added leadership and highly motivated teams.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple areas simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/coach/mentor and identify training needs for team members.
  • Labour relations experience (unionized setting is an asset)
  • Very good knowledge of French and English both written and spoken.
