As a die cutting machine operator, your job duties may include:


  • Setting up and adjusting the die cutting machine according to job specifications
  • Loading and unloading materials onto the machine
  • Operating the machine to cut and shape materials
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with the machine
  • Performing routine maintenance on the machine
  • Keeping the work area clean and organized
  • Following safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
To be successful as a die cutting machine operator, you should have:

  • Experience operating and maintaining die cutting machines
  • Knowledge of materials and their properties
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
