Responsibilities
- Provision of individual treatment education and ongoing assessment of progress to patients using evidence-based modalities including: cognitive behavior therapy CBT mindfulness dialectical behavior therapy DBT Cognitive Processing Therapy CPT interpersonal therapy and trauma-informed care
- Facilitation of abstinence-based harm reduction relapse prevention individual group based education content identification of treatment goals with patients coordinating across broader clinical teams when appropriate delivery of high quality psychoeducational process groups using evidence-based modalities case coordination communication across an inter-professional team both within the company and with external providers collaboration with other stakeholders in the development implementation follow-up patient aftercare plan including referrals to abstinence recovery programs e.g AA CA NA SMART etc prepare comprehensive intake mid-treatment discharge summaries timely manner completion detailed documentation charting appropriately timely manner accordance relevant company standards liaison patient family referral sources community providers EAP representatives case managers circle care regular timely basis engage personal professional development maintain appropriate professional associations provide current documentation Human Resources Department other duties assigned providing coverage programs required qualifications include Master degree program Counselling Social Work Psychotherapy registration good standing as required by professional body e.g College Occupational Therapists College Social Workers College Registered Psychotherapists Nursing etc experience asset however new graduates encouraged apply facilitating group therapeutic groups experience working residential mental health addiction setting knowledge multiple treatment modalities cognitive behavior therapy acceptance commitment therapy cognitive processing accelerated resolution therapy mindfulness dialectical behavior theory interpersonal ability perform duties courteous produce high quality work meeting deadlines according companys standards demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills ability work collaboratively members healthcare team both within company external agencies exercise initiative judgement multi-task fast paced challenging environment often competing priorities experience military first responder cultures considered strong asset evidence ongoing professional development mental health addiction highly desirable employee benefits perks include comprehensive yearly allowance 2000 mental health services plus 600 various paramedical services massage physiotherapy access fitness facilities discounted memberships Perkopolis entertainment insurance more opportunities personal growth through Education Support Assistance supportive relocation nationwide presence defined Benefit pension plan up employer contribution maternity parental leave top-up discounts available Kids daycare artificial intelligence AI may used screen assess select applicants position analyzing generating recommendations support human decision-making EHN Canada employment equity employer contact Human Resources if require accommodation interview please
