Aspire for Higher (A4H) is a grassroots non-profit organization that uses sports to engage, empower, and educate youth and young people from all communities and backgrounds.


We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our video team and support our A4H Sports program.

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that showcases the impact of our sports programs and engages our audience.


Responsibilities:


  • Edit and assemble video footage, audio recordings, and graphics to create engaging and compelling video content that aligns with A4H's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the A4H Sports team to identify and develop video content ideas that highlight the impact of our programs and the experiences of our participants.
  • Manage and organize video assets, including footage, music, sound effects, and graphics, to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of final videos.
  • Work closely with the A4H Communications team to ensure that all video content meets A4H's branding and messaging standards.
  • Stay uptodate with current video production trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of A4H Sports video content.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing studies in film, video production, or a related field.
  • 23 years of experience in video editing and production, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to convey complex ideas and emotions through video.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Passion for sports and youth development.
