East Coast Credit Union is seeking an
Administration Clerk to join our team in downtown Dartmouth at our Ochterloney St.

branch Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Administration, you will be responsible for supporting the Administration department and branches with various tasks including collecting, sorting, and distributing mail, fulfilling branch supply orders, and scanning documents and files.

As an integral part of the Administration team, you will collaborate with colleagues providing support and contributing to the achievement of departmental objectives.


You would

  • Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail efficiently.
  • Process daily and monthly department mailouts including late notices, inactive account letters, and commercial account statements.
  • Manage the sending and receiving of courier bags.
  • Scan and file documents ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Process and fulfill draft, debit cards, and other branch supply orders including items from various thirdparty vendors.
  • Monitor department inbox, responding to inquiries and/or directing inquires to the appropriate person or department.
  • Execute global search indexing and filing.
  • Provide administrative support including preparing correspondence and reports; inputting data to computer; maintenance of the filing system; answering telephones; photocopying; faxing and other general office administration.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities and projects as required, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to contributing to the overall success of the team.

You have

  • Successfully completed a diploma in Office Administration plus have one to three years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a financial institution; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
