    The Data Standards Analyst will play a critical role in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing data standards and best practices across the organization. They will collaborate with Data Stewards and Owners to document data entry and system integration requirement and effectively communicate expectations across the organization. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to ensure that data standards meet analytic requirements while being seamlessly embedded into operational processes.

    This role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to Manager, Data Assets and Standards. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Coordination and oversight of data standard development across all systems
    • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive data standards across the organization.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and document data standards for various data domains.
    • Work closely with business units, IT teams, data owners, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the adoption of data standards.
    Maintenance of Single Source of all Data Standards
    • Establish procedures for ongoing maintenance and updates to data standards.
    • Design and implement processes for the standardization of data elements, formats, and definitions across different business units and systems.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data standards, including data dictionaries, naming conventions, and definitions.
    Communication, awareness, and support to stakeholders to ensure data standards are understood.
    • Communicate data standards and guidelines to relevant stakeholders and ensure awareness and compliance.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data standards, data governance, and related best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure consistent application of data standards.
    Data Standards compliance measurement to support stakeholders in troubleshooting and validation.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and enforce adherence to data standards.
    • Collaborate with data quality teams to ensure that data meets established standards.
    What You Bring:
    • Bachelor's in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Informatics).
    • Proven experience in data management, with a focus on data governance and data quality.
    • Strong understanding of data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Experience with data management tools and technologies.

    • Understand complete data lifecycle and related data governance requirements.
    • Understanding of GDPR and related legislation.
    • Ability to manipulate, analyze and transform large datasets to understand trends and patterns.
    • Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms. MS Azure preferred (Microsoft Synapse, Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake, PowerBI).
    • Proficient in SQL or other programming languages.
    • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Expert in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
    This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
