About the Role


As a CBRE Research Associate, you'll support the research team by performing certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core commercial real estate data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production and delivery of research materials.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain CBRE's internal leasing/sales database by gathering and inputting data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments.
  • Assist in enforcing and adhering to due diligence procedures related to the quality and production of real estate data, quarterly statistics and related reports.
  • Gather and produce accurate real estaterelated information to determine market projections and trends.
  • Track and analyze market trends; produce ad hoc and quarterly written reports based on developing trends.
  • Coordinate and complete ad hoc broker requests.
  • Create and analyze market statistics and corresponding materials, including the production of client presentations and reports.
  • Answer various zoning and official planrelated questions usually pertaining to permitted uses.
  • Obtain and record comparable lease and sale transactions for property specific appraisals, valuation and research.
  • Establish key contacts in the real estate industry, including with owners, landlords, external brokers and researchers, and clients.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in real estate, economics, finance, or geography.
  • Some relevant experience is preferred.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Resourceful and proactive selfmotivated individual.
  • Possess a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
