Hours: 35 hours per week

Position Summary

Duties:


  • Acts as the first point of contact for all admission inquiries (Zendesk, phone, inperson inquiries)
  • Assists the Admissions Team in maintaining the integrity, security, accuracy and consistency of admission files and records (print and digital)
  • Serves as the primary contact for the Fundamentals of Health Care Diploma Program
  • Assists the Recruitment Team with events (inperson and virtual) when required
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Registrar, Enrolment Management and Systems and/or Registrar

Position Qualifications:


  • Minimum education requirement of Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a postsecondary environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with applicants, students, faculty and staff verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude when speaking with applicants, Michener staff and the public.
  • Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance document required upon hire
  • Vaccines (COVID19) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code_
