Qualifications
- Bachelors in Nursing certification in nursing Administration or equivalent management experience made under Fixing Long Term Care Act OReg 246/22 Must be Registered Nurse good standing College Nurses Ontario another college Nurses ability obtain registration Registered Nurse Province Ontario Considerable experience motivating leading supervising managing registered unregulated staff large sized Long Term Care unionized environment Considerable experience geriatric rehabilitation nursing working residents dementia mental health issues Knowledge Long Term Care legislation including Fixing Long Term Care Act Residents Bill Rights relevant workplace legislation e.g Employment Standards Occupational Health Safety Ability drive positive clinical outcomes knowledge Resident Assessment Instrument Minimum Data Set RAI MDS skilled building relationships working effectively range stakeholders including residents families community groups Ability manage competing priorities lead change fast paced complex environment Strong verbal written communication skills senior management level presentations Capable problem solving conflict management handling sensitive information discretion Ability foster teamwork promote excellence customer service focused environment Proficient Microsoft Office Suite other computer applications Ability uphold Toronto Public Service values promoting equity diversity respectful workplaces As condition employment selected candidates will required provide satisfactory Police Reference Check PRC vulnerable sector screening tuberculosis screening proof immunization accordance Fixing Long Term Care Act OReg 246/22 Applicants demonstrate resume qualifications match specified job posting If selected temporary position employees placement conditional approval executive director general manager designate Temporary fixed term part time non union employees re assigned position In accordance Cities Acting Assignment policy posted non union temporary position becomes permanent may not repost Equity Diversity Inclusion
