The Opportunity:

Trojan Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Prototype Specialist to join our R+D department located
in London, Ontario.

As a Prototype Specialist, you will be responsible for building and testing prototypes to support product development and sustainment initiatives.

You will work
on-site and will be required to travel periodically to participate in testing and field verification activities.

What Will I Be Doing?

Build prototypes of product concepts and test fixtures from sketches, drawings, detailed specifications, and verbal instructions
Carry out assignments of substantial variety and/or complexity requiring a sound understanding of related engineering or scientific theory, principles, and practices
Participate in testing and field verification
Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment and components
Work both independently and as a productive member of a development/sustainment team

What Qualifications Do I Need?

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science Technology, or equivalent experience and skills

years of relevant experience in prototyping and product development

Machining experience required
Strong understanding of engineering and scientific theory, principles, and practices
Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of a development/sustainment team
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
Must possess a valid driver's license and have the means to access a vehicle.
Willingness to travel periodically
