Position Overview


Responsibilities:


  • Administration of fee based managed accounts including items such as:
  • Processing and approval of service requests and account opening documentation
  • Processing of Investment groups risk profile changes and modifications for congruence with client risk tolerance and objectives
  • Processing account termination requests made by IAs
  • Processing of IA credentials and account linking
  • Provide back up support for the administration of U.S. RIA accounts
  • Management of department content on internal websites
  • Regularly interact with our advisors, custodian and Envestnet service representatives to resolve questions and escalated service items
  • Become a SME for IAs and provide product support on policy, procedures, and fees related to Envestnet and other department policies
  • Assist with projects by doing data analysis in Excel
Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent customer service and able to work well under pressure
  • 13 years' experience in the financial sector would be an asset
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize multiple requests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of backoffice and retail brokerage operations/requirements an asset
  • Experience with Morningstar Direct, Dataphile, Envestnet and NetX360 not required but would be an asset
  • This role requires someone who is a accountable, a problem solver and is able to work with others in a collaborative environment
Education

  • Postsecondary education required
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required
  • CIM, PFP or progress towards CFP would be considered an asset
  • Series 6/7 would be an asset but not required
