Overview:
Lafarge is looking for a
Crusher Operator to join our team in Fort McMurray.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
- Seek out and implement Best Practices
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts
- Identify and communicate product problems and information
- Perform several types of manual work
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate automotive vehicles when required
- Shovel spillage around conveyor
- Willing to work flexible hours, job involves shift work and weekend work throughout the year
Safety:
- Must be able to work on Industrial Oil Sands sites in RMWB
- Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies training provided
- Contribute toward the overall success of the safety program by following set rules procedures and practices
- Identify and report workplace hazards and make positive suggestions for their elimination or control
All employees must be willing to work out of doors in all types of weather
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience working with gravel processing jaws, cones, and screens
- Experience with rubber tired loaders and excavators is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
