    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Superintendent, Human Resources Services, this position has responsibility for the teaching personnel area of Human Resources Services, including but not limited to contract administration, recruitment and selection, administration of the transfer/placement posting procedures, student teacher placements, performance appraisal administration, workplace accommodation, attendance support and leave of absence requests.

    Qualifications / Experience A recognized University degree preferably in Human Resources or Labour Relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience as deemed acceptable by the Superintendent, Human Resources Services.

    Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.

    An extensive background in Human Resource Administration with a minimum of eight (8) years experience, preferably in the Education Sector.

    A comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources related legislation and collective agreements including work experience in a unionized environment. A strong commitment to the concept of a Catholic School Community involving students, teachers, administrators, parents and Parish priests. Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Up-to-date knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems.
