Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

Reporting to the Leader of SAP Basis and Technical Operations, the primary focus of this role is to build a strong SAP Basis team by enhancing technical capabilities & processes

Accountability areas are following:

Lead SAP Basis technical team of 9+ team members in multiple time zones
Minimize and Rationalize system outages
Define and automate end to end critical system monitoring.
Develop and maintain technical solutions and runbooks for IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all key SAP systems.
Manage and monitor day to day technical support for the SAP systems, platforms, and associated services by working directly with basis analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues. This may require interaction with other internal IT teams, managed service providers and other vendors to resolve and to provide proper communication for scheduled and unscheduled SAP activities to ensure transparency to business stakeholders.
Formulate, implement and adhere to processes that deliver proactive and timely documentation updates, housekeeping and KPI reporting
Track and coordinate technical actions for the basis area based on regular security releases from SAP.
Coordinate project and operations work for SAP system touch points, upgrades and enhanced maintenance implementations while managing multiple priorities at the same time.
Participates in both internal and external regulatory/vendor audits.
Demonstrate end to end ownership of solution design and delivery.
Assist team in creating strategy and roadmap, working closely with other areas of IT and business groups. This includes assisting in hardware and software evaluations.
Lead or participate in decision making, determining objectives and approaches with multiple options for key deliveries.
Lead, develop and engage direct team members in career development through support for professional growth opportunities.
Very strong interpersonal skills are your forte, including communication skills (written and oral), listening skills, and ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all ATB Team Members.
Demonstrate organized, detailed and objective oriented work style.
Manage your time and learnings effectively and proactively.

Requirements:

12+ years of SAP Basis hands on experience including design and operations of high availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Working experience in leading technical implementation of Linux based SAP S/4 HANA, Suite on HANA or HANA Database, PI, Portal, Fiori, SAP security concepts and UI technologies. Exposure to SAP Banking solutions ( TRBK, FRDP/FPSL, Payment Central) will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of SAP Solution manager and any other monitoring/testing/automation solutions.
Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Architecture, integrations, monitoring and future roadmap.
Familiar with cloud hosting models in multi cloud environments along with network administration knowledge
Previous experience working with security on internal and external audits.
Able to gather and present required data for informed decision making.
Excellent documentation skills for solution designs, integrations, configurations, procedures and runbooks.
Strong prioritization, problem solving, technical troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
Persuasive, professional communication style. Capable of communicating complex, technical topics to a wide variety of audiences. Ability to interact with senior management and influence decision makers.
5+ years of leading and managing team members, contractors and 3rd party resources
Demonstrated expertise in mentoring and sharing technical expertise with team members.
